Day 60 - Ferry to Tulcea

I was up early and walked the ten minutes along the waterfront to catch the 7am ferry. The return journey to Tulcea was the reverse of yesterday, slow and with views that varied little. Just over three hours later I was back in Tulcea where I relaxed in the shade of park trees, found somewhere for breakfast and made my way back to my cheap hotel.

In the afternoon I took the opportunity to do nothing much. Tulcea is quite spread out and I could not face walking long distances in the afternoon heat; after having cycled over 2500 miles to get here an afternoon of reading, radio and relaxing did not seem unreasonable. Tomorrow I am back on my bicycle.
